June 1st, 2025 - devicethread is excited to announce Aristocrat Hotel, a Stay Cal Hospitality property, onboarding devicethread SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment in Half Moon Bay, California. This marks the third Stay Cal property to deploy devicethread, following successful rollouts at two other Stay Cal hotels, and reflects the growing portfolio-wide momentum behind devicethread's partnership with the group.

Bringing Smart Hospitality to the Coast

Aristocrat Hotel, known for its serene guest rooms, stunning coastal views, and authentic British pub, needed a way to manage guest access and in-room entertainment more efficiently, without adding pressure to its front-desk team.

With SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment, Aristocrat now offers guests smooth, self-serve arrivals alongside personalized in-room entertainment, reducing manual workflows and reception dependency. The deployment included 54 new smart locks installed across the property, with the full rollout completed in just three days by a team of three. SmartAccess was also integrated directly with Aristocrat's existing Aavgo PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data.
