MYAKKA CITY, FL — December 1, 2025 — devicethread has gone live at TerraNova Equestrian Center, bringing SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment to the property's first phase of cabin accommodations. The rollout marks devicethread's entry into equestrian hospitality—extending smart access, entertainment, and operational intelligence beyond traditional hotels and into distinctive, experience-driven properties where guest experience and operational efficiency matter as much as they do in any resort or hotel.

Bringing Smart Hospitality to the Stables

TerraNova Equestrian Center, located on Clay Gully Road in Myakka City, Florida, is one of the country's premier equestrian destinations—built on a simple philosophy: Purity of Sport. Mark Phillips. As it grows, the property is developing a cabin-based guest experience across three phases, with a planned total of 120 cabins supporting riders, guests, and event attendees.

As Phase 1 came online, TerraNova needed a way to manage guest access and in-cabin entertainment at scale—without adding pressure to the front desk during peak events and boarding periods. With SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment now deployed, TerraNova's cabins deliver smooth, self-serve entry alongside personalized in-cabin entertainment. New smart IoT locks were installed across every Phase 1 cabin, cutting manual check-in work and front-desk dependency as the property continues to build out its remaining phases.

SmartAccess was integrated directly with TerraNova's existing Stayntouch PMS, so guest access syncs automatically with reservations and check-in data as the property scales. The entire Phase 1 onboarding was completed in just one week — giving TerraNova a strong operational foundation heading into its next two phases.
